We’ve all had a great day today, with our first trips off-site!
Spot had an amazing time going to Conkers Forest Park. We did loads of activities, including a bare-foot walk, watching a film in the 4D cinema, and spending time in the fantastic adventure play area. The day went really quickly, and we dodged the worst of the weather and stayed dry too!
This morning Make learnt about teamwork, and then put those skills into practice by planning the Spot trip to Leamington and preparing Thursday’s banquet! They found it a challenging but valuable day, with lots of positives experiencing and practising the skills they spent the morning learning about.
Later this afternoon Spot also swam, and played a great 7 o’clock taking part in a range of school sports day activities. Then we all gathered together for our evening meeting, to hear about how Jesus’ crucifixion takes away the weight of our sin.
We have another busy day planned for tomorrow, and are praying for good weather and minimal disruption, and for safe and efficient travel for Make during their trip to Thorpe Park!
